It was the worst day Penn State football has had in a while.
From the start, coach James Franklin’s team was overmatched, and although the Nittany Lions fought back from a 13-0 deficit to take a 14-13 lead, Michigan scored 28 of the game’s final 31 points to romp, 41-17.
For safety Ji’Ayir Brown, a senior leader who finished the afternoon with nine tackles (four solo) and a tackle for loss, all he can do as a leader is move on, and help his teammates move on.
”Just trying to get the guys to forget about it as soon as possible,” Brown said, “and try to come out and still be the same team that we were.”
