Aliquippa 2024 4-Star Linebacker Cam Lindsey to Make Another Penn State Visit this Weekend

The visitors list for Penn State’s Whiteout Game this Saturday against Minnesota continues to grow.

Nittany Sports Now has learned that Aliquippa 2024 4-star linebacker Cameron Lindsey and his teammate 2025 4-star running back Tiqwai Hayes will both be at Beaver Stadium for an unofficial visit.

Both of these talented players have already made a number of trips to Penn State over the last couple of years and both have the Nittany Lions rated high on their recruiting list.

Despite being only a sophomore, Hayes is generating a national recruiting buzz with early offers from Penn State, Pitt, Michigan, Louisville, West Virginia, Syracuse, Maryland, Cincinnati and UConn. Lindey (6’2″, 193-pounds) is rated as one of the Top 10 juniors in Pennsylvania with offers from programs such as Penn State, Pitt, West Virginia, Syracuse, Maryland, Cincinnati, UConn, Kent State and Toledo.

Being a gameday visitor at Penn State is nothing new to Lindsey but being there for the nationally acclaimed White Out Game is something he tells NSN that he didn’t want to miss out on.

“I’m excited for the experience, since it will be my first White Out Game,” said Lindsey. “I feel like the atmosphere will be great, since the team just came off a tough game against Michigan. So, the energy in the stadium should be there for the team.”

In terms of unofficial visits, Lindsey has been to Penn State and Pitt the most and although he isn’t close to making a decision, he is excited about what he’s developed to this point with Terry Smith and the rest of the Penn State staff.

“I feel like our relationship has been great so far ever since September 1st when I could talk with coaches more freely, The Penn State coaches are always checking my film and congratulating me and the team on our great games. I’m definitely excited to see Coach Smith along with the rest of the staff.”

“My biggest attraction to Penn State is the relationship that I’ve been able to build with the staff. I usually get mail from them, or we talk often which builds our bond that is getting better and better! Also, the way campus is set up, nothing is too far from the dorms and the Penn State fans are awesome!”
