Saquan Barkley headlined one of many standout performances representing Penn State during Week 3 of the NFL season. Barkley rushed for 81 yards on 14 carries and four catches for 45 yards, including an electrifying 36-yard touchdown run in the third quarter of the New York Giants’ 23-16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Barkley is now second in the league in rushing.

In the same game, another Penn State alum Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons didn’t have a dominant night statistically by only recording one tackle, however, he applied two pressures on Giants quarterback Daniel Jones.

Other notable performances from Penn State alum from Week Three of the NFL season.

Pat Freiermuth

Freiermuth led the Pittsburgh Steelers with 44 receiving yards on two catches on only four targets, the lowest target volume of the season.

Odafe Oweh

Oweh recorded four stops on five tackles and recorded three pressures on Patriots quarterback Mac Jones in the Baltimore Ravens’ 37-36 win over the New England Patriots.

Jaquan Brisker

Chicago Bears rookie Jaquan Brisker recorded four tackles on two stops and only allowed two catches for nine yards in their 23-20 victory over the Houston Texans.

Austin Johnson

Johnson recorded three tackles playing nose tackle and was the only standout performer in their 38-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Shaka Toney

Toney had three stops on three tackles on Sunday, helping fellow former Nittany Lion Miles Sanders to 49 yards on 15 carries.
