Penn State did what it needed to do against Ohio.
The four-touchdown favorites were supposed to win and win big in their home opener and did both in a 46-10 triumph.
It was a good day for Penn State’s young players and veterans.
“It’s just a great experience,” freshman receiver Tre Wallace, who caught his first college pass and added three more receptions for a total of 35 yards, told reporters after the game. “Being in a position to help my team get a win and contribute to the team.”
“We preach 1-0 all the time,” third-year receiver Parker Washington, who caught four passes for 60 yards, said. “One week at a time, one practice at a time, one meeting at a time.”
Here’s more from Washington and Wallace, as well as Ji’Ayir Brown.
