Meleek Thomas, a touted Class of 2025 prospect from Lincoln Park High School in Midland, Pennsylvania, told Nittany Sports Now that he’s taking an unofficial visit to Penn State Thursday,  Aug. 4.

How good is Thomas? Well, ESPN has him as a five-star recruit and the No. 11 player in the country from his class.

Thomas currently has offers from Kansas State, Pitt and St. John’s.

He’s increased his stock this past summer as well and played in front of North Carolina head coach Hubert Davis— a man who came within four points of winning a national championship this past April— at last month’s Peach Jam.

Penn State doesn’t yet have a commit from western Pennsylvania in the Micah Shrewsberry-era. The Nittany Lions have five signees  from the Class of 2022 and two commits from the 2023 class.
