2024 Top 100 Recruit Jayden Bradford Will Visit Penn State This Weekend

Jayden Bradford, a four-star recruit out of Bradenton, Florida, will visit Penn State for the Lasch Bash Showcase Camp and Barbecue this weekend.

Bradford is a 6-foot-0, 185-pound quarterback, originally from Chapin, South Carolina, that transferred to IMG Academy for the 2022 season. He has had offers from Power Five schools such as Georgia Tech, Louisville, Missouri, NC State, Vanderbilt, and Virginia Tech.

Bradford is the number six quarterback, the No. 15 player in Florida, and the No. 50 recruit in the Class of 2024, according to 247Sports Composite ratings.

Bradford played for Chapin High School in South Carolina last season, where he completed 64 percent of his passes for 2,028 and 22 touchdowns. He also added 367 rushing yards and five touchdowns as he led Chaplin to the South Carolina state playoffs. He will play for IMG Academy for his last two seasons of high school football.

Scouts like Bradford’s ability to naturally throw the football, as well as his intelligence in reading defense at the high school level. Although he is not considered a duel threat quarterback, he is mobile enough to avoid sacks and has the speed to evade pass-rushers and make plays with his feet.

Bradford will be joined at the Lasch Bash by Class of 2025 quarterback Malik Washington out of Archbishop Wood High School in Severn, Maryland.
