The game between Penn State and Auburn, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 17, will kickoff at 3:30 on CBS, FBSchedules.com tweeted Wednesday morning.

The announcement shouldn’t come as a surprise. 3:30 on CBS has long been a premier time slot for SEC games, and Penn State’s first trip to Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium is sure to draw national attention.

This will only be the second time the schools have met in the regular season. Last year’s Penn State-Auburn game was a memorable one, with Penn State hanging on for a 28-20 win in what was the first full Beaver Stadium “Whiteout” since 2019.

Both teams ended up having disappointing 2021 season, with Penn State finishing 7-6 and Auburn ending with a losing record of 6-7.

Penn State hopes for a better 2022, and will head to Auburn after games at Purdue and at home against Ohio.
