Four-star cornerback Breaden Marshall will no longer be making an official visit to Penn State on June 17-19 and instead will visit Pitt from June 16-18. He announced both changes on Twitter, though the Penn State announcement has since been deleted.

Marshall has both schools among his top ten along with Arkansas, Clemson, Miami, NC State, North Carolina, Tennessee, UCF and Wisconsin. In addition to Pitt he has an official visit scheduled with North Carolina on June 24.
It is unknown why Marshall is no longer visiting Penn State, nor is it yet known if he will schedule a new official visit for Penn State at a later date.
Despite Marshall cancelling his Penn State official visit, it does makes sense that he would be visiting Pitt. Pitt was the earliest power-five program to offer Marshall. They offered him back on September 21, 2021. It was the second offer Marshall received overall behind Florida Atlantic. Penn State offered Marshall earlier this year on February 2, 2022.
Marshall is 5-foot-10, 170 pounds and is from Lake Mary, Florida. He’s the No. 39 ranked cornerback in the country on 247Sports and the No. 70 player in the state of Florida.
As of now, Penn State only has one cornerback commit for the class of 2023 in WPIAL product Lamont Payne.
