This news comes just one day after Fanatics announced its effort to partner with OneTeam, and it appears college football programs nationwide will benefit.
In the announcement, Fanatics said that it will offer “customizable Nike, Adidas and Under Armor football jerseys.”
Additionally, OneTeam will “administer the group rights of the program’s college athletes, who can opt into the program through the free COMPASS NIL app.”
“Retail touch prices will include e-commerce, wholesale and physical stores inside stadiums and arenas,” the statement said.
Penn State coach James Franklin was asked about NIL in his Wednesday National Signing Day/season wrap up press conference. Franklin said he wanted to see Penn State be “bold and aggressive” as NIL continues to be a game-changer.
“When these new rules are put in place,” Franklin said. “We have to move and we have to move quickly. There’s no doubt about it.”
