Three days into the All-American Bowl Practice and three Penn State commits that are standing out at practices for the Eastern team.
On Thursday, running back Nicholas Singleton stood out as the Alpha Dog according to Gabe Brooks of 24/7 Sports. Singleton has shown to show great instinct on two occasions during inside run drills bouncing to the perimeter with explosion and easily outrunning linebackers and defensive backs to the edge. He showed his pass-catching ability when he scored a touchdown pass on a wheel route during seven-on-seven drills.

Another Nittany Lion who has stood out at AAB practice is Drew Allar. Allar has been impressive all week with his number of incredible downfield throws with his elite arm strength. But what scouts are impressed with is that he puts a nice touch on the ball that makes it easier for receivers to not only track the ball but catch the ball as well. One example is when threw a dime to Alabama signee Isaiah Bond for a touchdown proving why analysts think that he is the most college-ready out of all quarterbacks that are in San Antonio this week.

Another notable player that is making a mark is defensive lineman Dani Dennis-Sutton out of McDonogh School (Owings, Mills, MD) who has been named a starter for the Eastern team in the All-American Bowl. He has been shown beating offensive linemen in drills by using a rip move inside on one play and using his speed to the outside one play.

Dennis-Sutton is the defensive crown jewel of Penn State’s recruiting class of 2022 who chose the Lions over Alabama and Georgia who play for the college football playoff national championship game.
The U.S. Army All-American Bowl takes place this Saturday at noon on NBC.
