Penn State’s most talked about commit in the 2022 recruiting class is Ohio quarterback product Drew Allar. But PA running back prospect Nicholas Singleton isn’t far behind.

Singleton, the No. 1 high school running back in America, according to 247Sports’s rankings, is one of three high school players up for Gatorade Player of the Year after winning Pennsylvania’s honor.

He joins Clemson QB commit Cade Klubnik and Tetairoa McMillan, a wide receiver prospect committed to Oregon. Singleton rushed for 2,043 yards and 40 touchdowns for Governor Mifflin this season.

The Gatorade Player of the Year Award winner will be announced the week of Dec. 13.
