Penn State Men’s Basketball Game vs. Delaware State Postponed

It’s been almost three weeks since Penn State’s men’s basketball team has played a game.

Micah Shrewsberry’s team will have to wait a little longer.

Due to positive COVID-19 tests in the Delaware State program, Penn State’s game against the Hornets, initially scheduled for Wednesday at Bryce Jordan Center, has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

Fans who purchased tickets through Penn State’s Athletic Ticket Office will get account credit for the game, and that credit can be used for any home game or the remainder of the season.

Fans who received a free ticket from a blue Friday/Cyber Monday deal will have their tickets replaced with Penn State’s game tickets against Rutgers Jan. 11. Fans who got their tickets through Ticketmaster will be refunded through Ticketmaster.

The Nittany Lions are 5-5 overall and 0-2 in conference play. They have now had three straight games postponed. Their last game was an 80-64 loss at Michigan State Dec. 11.
