Penn State has already received a commitment from an offensive lineman from Virginia for their Class of 2023, another one could be coming in the near future?
3-star offensive tackle Joshua Miller (Life Christian Academy in Chester, Virginia) has announced his final five teams and it includes Penn State. In the near future, Miller (6-foot-6, 320 pounds) will be deciding between Penn State, Clemson, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech. It’s believed that this decision ultimately will come down to Penn State and Clemson.
The Nittany Lions staff, led by offensive line coach Phil Trautwein and area recruiter Ja’Juan Seider have been hard recruiting Miller going back to March of 2020, when he officially received the offer.
Miller has made three visits to Happy Valley, including the most recent one for their game against Illinois and took his official visit the weekend of June 26. Miller has also made multiple visits to both Virginia Tech and Clemson.
No official word on when Miller plans on making his final decision but it’s believed to be happening in the near future.
Penn State already has four commitments for their Class of 2023, including two players from Virginia: 4-star tight end Mathias Barnwell (Fredericksburg, Virginia) and 4-star offensive lineman Alex Birchmeier (Ashburn, Virginia).
