One of the members of Penn State’s current No. 2 ranked Class of 2022 turned in a record breaking performance over the weekend.
4-star quarterback Drew Allar (Medina, Ohio) broke his country record for career touchdown passes. On Friday evening, Allar tossed four touchdown passes in Medina High School’s 35-0 win over Wadworth. Those four touchdown passes give him 57 for his high school career, which breaks the previous record of Darian Miskewycz from 1993-95. The record breaking toss was a 28-yard pass to Jaquan Jackson.
For the game, Allar was 32-of-43 for 391 passing yards. That follows his opening weekend peformance against Avon when he accounted for 350 total yards (246 passing and 104 rushing) and 4 touchdowns (2 passing and 2 rushing).
Allar, who committed to Penn State back on March 8, is currently ranked by Rivals as the No. 196 overall player in the Class of 2022.
Here are the highlights from Allar’s record breaking performance over the weekend.
