Penn State certainly has a lot going for it in recruiting, with the nation’s No. 2 class for 2022. One of the top recruits in the class made a bold prediction Sunday evening, posting this on Twitter:
Just so y’all know now, Penn State will be winning a National championship within the next 3-4 years.
— Dani Dennis-Sutton (@DaniDennis302) August 1, 2021
Dennis-Sutton is a 4-star defensive lineman. He’s also the No. 1 recruit in Maryland and the No. 50 recruit in the nation, according to 247Sports.
If his prediction turns out to be true, Dennis-Sutton will look like a genius.
Still, it’s going to be difficult for Penn State to make that prediction come true, during a time when Alabama and Clemson have dominated the sport in recent years, along with Penn State’s fellow Big Ten East member Ohio State.
Some of the responses on Dennis-Sutton’s Twitter post are supportive, while others are pessimistic. Here’s a sampling:

From your lips to God's ears Dani, I sure do hope you are right! Can't wait to see you out there wrecking some offenses. Good luck to you in your football future and in all that you do! Welcome to the family! #WeAre #PennState
