PSU to open Shrewsberry era against Youngstown State: report

Micah Shrewsberry’s first game as Penn State’s basketball coach will be at home against Youngstown State on Nov. 10, according to a report Wednesday from college basketball insider Jon Rothstein.

Nov. 10 is a Wednesday, which makes it a good day to open the home basketball slate during football season. The Nittany Lion football team will be hosting Michigan that week on Nov. 13.

Youngstown State is a member of the Horizon League and went 15-12 overall last season. The Penguins went 9-11 in their conference to finish in sixth place.
