Rodney Gallagher from Uniontown, Pa., will have quite a decision on his hands in a couple of years — whether to play college football or college basketball.

Or, maybe even both.

Gallagher, a class of 2023 recruit, received an offer Friday afternoon from the Penn State basketball program.

He already had a football offer from Penn State.

Gallagher is a 6-foot, 160-pound athlete in football and a point guard in basketball.

He also has football offers from Michigan, Pitt and West Virginia.

His other basketball offers are from Illinois, Pitt and Rhode Island. Syracuse and Temple also are reportedly interested in him.

Gallagher is from Laurel Highlands High School and is a product of the Wildcat Select youth basketball program.
