Wednesday is media day for Penn State, with James Franklin and the assistant coaches getting set to answer questions from the media for the upcoming season.
We thought it would be fun to pose this question to fans: What would you ask Franklin if given the chance?
I received some good questions through Twitter, text and email. This one stood out, since the recruiting struggles have been an ongoing issue of late, and the result is definitely not PSU “dominating the state” in recruiting.
Please ask why we are losing PA athletes to other programs, is this a part of not meeting recruiting expectations?

Another recruiting question:
How did the coaching transitions followed by COVID-19 impact recruiting? What things does PSU excel at that they just couldnโt do remotely.

As for the football, these were some good questions:
The no brainer is what is Micah Parson's status, but that withstanding, how about has any stood out as a threat to take the top off a defense at the wide receiver position?

I'm curious on how he thinks the total redshirt rule will impact his in game management and what kind of players he thinks it will benefit the most

There also are some off-the-field topics of note.
I know itโs above his pay grade but โWhy are fans not allowed in the stadium?โ

What are the concerns about playing into much colder weather in December?

Additionally, there was this question posed by text: Will Kirk Ciarrocca use tight end Pat Freiermuth a lot? That will be interesting to see, since Freiermuth has superstar potential, but Minnesota didn’t throw to the tight ends a lot when Ciarrocca was there.
You can still post your questions for Franklin @CoryGiger on Twitter.
