Penn State Basketball: Former Nittany Lion Back in Transfer Portal

Former Penn State forward Kachi Nzeh is back in the transfer portal after playing this past season for the Little Rock Trojans in the Ohio Valley Conference.

Nzeh played for Penn State during the 2024-25 season.

For the Nittany Lions as a sophomore, the 6′-8″ product from Upper Darby, Pennsylvania saw action in 29 games while making two starts.

He averaged 2.6 points and 2.2 rebounds per game while shooting 61.1% from the field in an average of 11.3 minutes per game.

For Little Rock this past season, started all 32 games, averaging 11.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and a block in 28.4 minutes played per game.

Before State College, Nzeh played at Xavier as a freshman (2023-24) appearing in 19 games, making four starts and averaging 2.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 60 percent from the field in 9.8 minutes per contest.

Coming out of high school playing for the George School in Newtown, Pennsylvania, Nzeh was the No. 2 ranked player in the Commonwealth.

The NCAA college basketball transfer portal officially opens Tuesday, April 7, the day after the national championship game.
