Penn State head coach Matt Campbell continues to build momentum in the 2026 recruiting cycle, adding former Iowa State signee Amarion Jackson to the class.
Jackson, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound wide receiver from Millard South High School in Omaha, Nebraska, brings proven production and versatility to the Nittany Lions’ future offense.
Jackson totaled more than 3,300 receiving yards on 188 catches while scoring 40 touchdowns at Millard South, establishing himself as one of the most productive pass-catchers in the region.
Originally committed to Iowa State, Jackson earned seven scholarship offers during his recruitment, choosing Iowa State over Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota and Northwestern.
He ultimately flipped his commitment to Penn State, citing strong relationships with Campbell and wide receivers coach Noah Pauley as key factors in his decision.
Jackson is widely regarded as one of the top receivers in the Midwest.
He is rated as a Top 125 wide receiver nationally in the 2026 class by both On3 and 247Sports and is considered a Top 5 overall prospect in the state of Nebraska.
His addition gives Penn State its 11th high school commitment in the 2026 class.
Only two prospects, defensive end Jackson Ford and quarterback Peyton Falzone, signed during the December period, making the recent surge particularly notable.
Among players who originally committed to Iowa State, Jackson ranks as the third-highest rated addition for Penn State, trailing only cornerback Tyrell Chatman and offensive lineman Mason Bandhauer.
Jackson also became the second wide receiver to join the class in the past week, following Virginia standout Ben Whitver, who committed after being released from his agreement with James Madison.
