Penn State is playing UCLA today, and Vegas is expecting a blowout.
PSU is 4-0 and ranked No. 7.
UCLA is 1-3 with all three losses being by four scores or more.
Here is what our staff at Nittany Sports Now believes will take place at Beaver Stadium today.
Mike Asti (WV Sports Now/Yardbarker): Coming off their best win of the season, PSU now just needs to make sure they don’t ruin it with a bad loss to UCLA. The Bruins have been a disappointment so far and the Nittany Lions should be able to run all over the UCLA defense.
This could be another game Drew Allar can win without having to be great. It’s possible PSU could overlook UCLA with a big matchup against USC looming, but that’s not common of a James Franklin-led team. PSU has 24 straight wins over unranked opponents and that streak isn’t ending this week.

Andy Stine, Nittany Sports Now: The Bruins are a struggling team from Los Angeles flying across the country to State College. I don’t see any way UCLA comes in and plays well.

Ben Bolch, Columnist, LA Times: Yeah, I think this one’s going to get ugly, to be honest. I think, even if Garbers plays, I don’t think it’s going to be a difference-maker. I this is one of those ones that’s really going to snowball.

Joe Smeltzer, Nittany Sports Now: I’m feeling a shutout today. UCLA is the worst-rushing team in the country that isn’t Kent State and has a starting QB in Ethan Garbers that might not play and won’t be 100% if he does. So, in short, it’s unlikely that UCLA can effectively run or pass on this Penn State defense.
Remember Iowa 2013, yeah, this will probably look like that.
