Penn State Sights and Sounds: Fall Weather in August

University Park— Although we’re not even in the last week of August yet, Penn State football’s Tuesday practice felt like it was happening two months into the future.

Weather or not the team was in midseason form is up to coach James Franklin and company, but the high-60s weather certainly was.

Nittany Sports Now was there for the media’s practice viewing window, and observed Penn State’s offense. NSN saw assistant offensive line coach Frank Leonard enthusiastically call it a “beautiful day,” receiver Julian Fleming flashing his physicality and, of course, Drew Allar and the quarterbacks putting in some work.

Here are the latest sights and sounds of Penn State football practice.
