‘Linebacker U’ has made the Top 10 for one of the top junior linebackers in the country.
Thursday afternoon, 2025 4-star inside linebacker Tarvos Alford whittled down his long list of offers to 10 schools, which includes Penn State.
The native of Vero Beach, Florida plans to focusing on these 10 programs: Penn State, Florida State, Central Florida, Ohio State, Rutgers, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Louisville and Miami, Fla.
Alford told On3.com that “these 10 are the main schools that stay in contact and show the most love. Coaches from all of these school reach out at least once or twice a week, I have built some good relationships and that is a big factor. These are also schools I can see myself playing for and making an early impact at,” said Alford.
Alford was at Miami this past weekend and will be at Florida State this coming weekend.

Penn State was one of the first schools to offer Alford, which happened back in June 2022.
