Nick Singleton is the most-hyped Penn State freshman running back since Saquon Barkley made his presence known in 2015.
Singleton lived up to that hype in Saturday’s 41-12 win over Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium, finishing the day with 124 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries.
Barkley— who himself had a big week with the New York Giants in New York’s season-opening win over the Tennessee Titans— was one of many who weighed in on Singleton.

No Penn State player rushed for 40+ yards multiple times in a single game between Larry Johnson (2002) and Nick Singleton.
Singleton has now done it in consecutive weeks…
