Penn State received a commitment today from 3-star wide receiver Tyler Johnson, rated the No. 21 prospect in Virginia for the class of 2022. He just made his official visit to PSU last week.
Johnson (6-0, 175) chose PSU over the likes of in-state schools such as Virginia and Virginia Tech, as well as Syracuse, Purdue, Maryland and Duke. Here’s a look at his offer sheet.

“Coming from where I’m from this is truly a blessing. Not many people from my area get the chance to play football at the next level, I thank everybody in the city for your support I’ll always rep the 276.
“But with all that being said after good conversations with my family, I am excited to say I’ll be committing to Penn State University. Thank you Coach Franklin and the whole staff for giving me the opportunity to play at a great program!”
Here’s a look at Johnson’s highlights from his Hudl page.
