Penn State sent out offers to a couple of high-profile recruits Tuesday night, including one of the nation’s top players from Indiana.
Micah Shrewsberry is an Indiana native, so it’s no surprise he’s making a push for 5-star power forward Jalen Washington (6-9, 210) from Gary, Ind. Washington is rated the No. 1 prospect in Indiana and No. 20 in the nation by 247Sports.

Washington, of course, has a big offer sheet, from the likes of Duke, Indiana, Illinois, Purdue, Iowa and others.
Penn State also sent out an offer to 4-star small forward Cam Whitmore (6-6, 200) from Maryland. He’s rated the No. 5 player in Maryland and No. 110 in the country.
