Penn State center Nick Dawkins is up for one of the most prestigious all-around awards in college football.
Earlier this week, the National Football Federation revealed its semifinalists for the 2025 William V. Campbell Trophy.
Penn State redshirt senior center Nick Dawkins is one of 178 semifinalists vying for the sport’s premiere scholar-athlete nod.
The Campbell Trophy honors “the absolute best scholar-athlete in the nation.” The award recognizes combined academic success, football achievements, and exemplary leadership.
Dawkins won the Allstate Wuerffel Trophy and was named captain of the Allstate Good Works Team for his work giving back to his community and community service.
A two-year captain at Penn State, Dawkins started all 16 games in 2024 in his first year as captain.
