Penn State continues to hold its top 5 ranking in the AP poll after a dominant victory at Purdue.
The Nittany Lions remain the No. 4 team in the nation following a 49-10 win in West Lafayette, Indiana.ย
Oregon, Ohio State, and Texas all won Saturday and maintained their top 3 status. Georgia catapulted back into the top 10 after a 31-17 defeat of one-loss Tennessee.ย
The Nittany Lions outgained the Boilermakers 539-302 and rushed for 234 yards. Drew Allar closed the afternoon 17-19 for 247 yards and three touchdowns before giving way to Beau Pribula.ย

Tyler Warren nearly topped 200 yards from scrimmage and continues to build his case to represent Penn State in New York as a Heisman Trophy finalist. Warren caught eight passes for 127 yards and a score, while also rushing for 63 yards and a touchdown on three carries. His double pass reception set up a Nicholas Singleton 10-yard touchdown.ย

Penn State ranked fourth in the College Football Playoff poll last week and projected to slot No. 6 in the CFP bracket. PSU would host Ole Miss in a rematch of the Peach Bowl in that scenario.
The third CFP rankings will be unveiled on ESPN Tuesday at 8 p.m. Penn State plays Minnesota on CBS on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
