UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State QB Drew Allar has looked markedly different this year compared to last year and one specific area is throwing the deep ball. Allar dialed up Omari Evans on a 59-yard touchdown pass to get the scoring started in the second half.
The catch was Evans’ third of the game and put him over the century mark in receiving yards for the first time in his Penn State career.

Save for the first half turnover and a punt, the Penn State offense has been in the zone against Kent State. Of course, Kent State is the worst team on the schedule this season.
