Penn State Daily: Basketball Offers 4-Star ‘24, Football Hosts Elite Showcase III

Update (1:57 p.m.)—

**Penn State basketball has extended an offer to Cam Ward (2024), a four-star, 6-foot-7 wing from Largo High School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland and Team Durant. Ward also has offers from Arkansas, George Mason, Georgetown, Iowa,  Maryland, Syracuse and West Virginia.

Update (1:43 p.m.)— 

**Another ‘25 Malvern player is on campus today. Preston “PJ” Holmes is at Penn State for the Elite Showcase. Holmes is a 6-foot-2, 180-pound WR who has an offer from Kent State.

Update (1:37 p.m.)—

**Bernard Blakey is at Penn State for today’s Elite Showcase III. Blakey (2025), is a 6-foot-5, 210-pound in-state DE/TE from Malvern Prep High School.

Update (1:29 p.m.)—

**Penn State’s getting a visit from Will Ciafrini (2024), a three-star receiver from Texas’ Galveston Ball High School.

Update (9:27 a.m.)—

**Zion Knox will be at today’s Elite Showcase. Knox (2024) is a 6-foot-1, 195-pound in-state OLB/RB from Cardinal Ohara High School.

Update (9:16 a.m.)— **Gavin Easter will be at Penn State for today’s Elite Showcase III. Easter (2026), is a 5-foot-7, 140-pound DB in-state DB from Cathedral Prep.
