Penn State was successful in recruiting 4-star defensive end Tomarrion Parker from Alabama and are looking to add another player from the Yellowhammer State to their Class of 2023.
Friday morning, Penn State extended an offer to 2023 3-star cornerback Rickey Gibson from Trussville, Alabama.
The Nittany Lions aren’t the only program impressed lately by Gibson as he recently picked up an offer from Georgia. The 6’1″, 165-pound defensive back impressed teams at a recent prospects camp by running a 4.3 in the 40 and recording 41.5 on the vertical jump.
Had a great day at Georgia!

Gibson now holds over 30+ offers, including schools such as Arkansas, Boston College, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Missouri, NC State, Tennessee and Washington State.
Gibson made an official visit last weekend to Tennessee and will be in Arkansas this weekend.
The talented defensive back is on record as saying he’d like to make his decision before the start of his senior season but will the recent offers from Georgia and Penn State change that timeline?
