On Friday, the National Football Writers Association of America selected Penn State safety Jaquan Brisker and defensive end Arnold Ebiketie to the All-American second team.

Brisker, a senior, posted 5.5 tackles for a loss this season and was tied for second among all defensive backs in the Big Ten. He is the first Nittany Lion safety to be chosen since Marcus Allen received the honor in 2017.

Brisker also garnered All-American first-team honors from Pro Football Focus, CBS/247 Sports, and On3. He also was a first-team All-Big Ten selection this season.

Ebiketie led the Big 10 in tackles or loss and has 8.5 sacks which are good for 3rd in the conference. He is also second among Power 5 defensive linemen in tackles for loss and tied for seventh in sacks.

He is the first Penn State defensive end to be get the nod since Las Vegas Raider Carl Nassib was awarded All-American honors in 2015.
