Kaden Saunders is a big deal in his hometown of Westerville, Ohio and we saw an example of that today.

The city of Westerville have declared November 3, 2021, “Kaden Saunders Day”, in honor of the accomplishments of their hometown hero. In a proclamation, Westerville Mayor Kathleen Cocuzzi names Saunders grades in school, the fact that he’s a role model for young kids and his accomplishments on the field as reasons for this special honor.

Saunders was recently invited to play in the 2022 Under Armour All-American Bowl Game, which will take place on January 2, 2022 in Orlando, Florida.

Rivals and 247Sports both rank Saunders as a 4-star recruit and a Top 100 recruit in the country. The speedy wideout committed to James Franklin and Penn State back on July 25, 2020 over other offers from Alabama, Cincinnati, Florida State, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Pitt, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and West Virginia.

The Penn State staff envisions Saunders having a similar impact in the offense like former Nittany Lions great and current Denver Broncos wide receiver KJ Hamler.
