Penn State picked up a commitment on this signing day as 4-star defensive end Davon Townley from Minneapolis signed with the Nittany Lions.
This is a big get for Penn State, which signed 15 players on the early signing day in December.

Townley is a 6-foot-6, 220-pounder who didn’t start playing football until his junior year of high school. He’s also an outstanding high school basketball player. Check out this video of him throwing down jams and shooting the 3.

Townley also had offers from Minnesota, Michigan State, Arizona, Arizona State, Tennessee, Oregon and Iowa State.
