UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State football head coach Matt Campbell announced earlier this week that wide receiver Koby Howard will be out with an undisclosed injury for a period of time unknown at this point.
Howard has been dynamic this season having two 100-yard receiving performances in the Nittany Lions first three games.
The last time a Penn State wide receiver had multiple 100-yard games was Parker Washington and Jahan Dotson in 2021.
Stepping up this week for Howard will be wide receivers Brett Eskildsen, Amarion Jackson, Chase Sowell, and Zay Robinson.
Robinson has been a budding superstar on special teams this season for Penn State.
Against Buffalo, Robinson had 126 return yards last week as well as a reception for seven yards on offense.
Tight end Andrew Rappleya was listed as a game time decision in the final availability report.
Rappleyea caught a 13-yard reception and felt discomfort exiting the game during the first quarter against Buffalo. He did not return.
Center Brock Riker is also listed as a game time decision.
