Penn State Basketball: Five-Star Dylan Mingo To Announce His College Decision

A Mingo reunion in Happy Valley is very possible and we will find out very soon.

Per Joe Tipton of On3 Sports, the younger brother of Penn State freshman point guard, Kayden Mingo, is now ready to make his college decision and Penn State is still on his final list of schools.

The five-star combo guard is expected to make his final decision on Thursday, January 22.

Dylan Mingo (2026), is a 6′-5,” versatile, combo-guard, and is the No. 2 ranked overall high school basketball player in the country, per Rivals. He is also the No. 1 ranked player out of the state of New York. Mingo is from Glen Head, New York and plays ball for the Long Island Lutheran (LuHi) Cardinals. The other three schools Mingo is considering are Washington, Baylor and North Carolina.
