Penn State continues to grow its class of commits in the 2026 cycle.

On Saturday, three-star offensive tackle Marlen Bright committed to Penn State. Bright announced his decision on Instagram Saturday at 2 p.m.

Bright, 6-foot-6, 260 pounds, hails from DePaul Catholic and Wayne, New Jersey. 247Sports gave Bright an 88 overall grade as the 12th-best player in New Jersey.

He visited Penn State on May 30, his last official visit after going to Illinois (April 21) and Stanford (May 11) earlier this year. Offensive line coach Phil Trautwein, from Voorhes, New Jersey, recruited Bright to Penn State.

Bright chose the Nittany Lions over Stanford, Illinois, Florida State, Boston College, Pitt, Tennessee, West Virginia, and others.

He is ranked the No. 43 OT in the country and owns a .8813 247Sports composite scale ranking. Bright was predicted to commit to Penn State since May 29.

PSUโ€™s newest tackle is the 24th commit in the class of 2026. 247Sports ranks Penn State with the 14th-best recruiting class.
