3-Star 2023 Recruit Jaybron Harvey Recieves Offer From Penn State

On Wednesday, 2023 three-star recruit Jaybron Harvey announced on Twitter that he received an offer from Penn State. Harvey is a 6-foot 3, 215-pound edge rusher out of Southern School of Engineering in Durham, NC.

Harvey has received offers from Power 5 schools such as Washington, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Arizona State, Michigan, Louisville, Wake Forest, and Ohio State. He is also a two-sport athlete with him playing basketball for the Spartans.

In his junior year, Harvey recorded 129 tackles, 35 tackles for loss, and 28.5 sacks which is one of the best sack totals in the entire country. So far in his career, he has 43 tackles for loss and 33.5 sacks and he considers football as his secondary sport to basketball.

While he has not grown into his body just yet, he makes up for it with his speed, running a 4.59 in a 40-yard dash. He is a high-ceiling prospect that has the speed and power to be a dominant pass rusher if he commits himself fully to football. If so, he could get another 30 sacks next season and more offers and awards will come in next season.
