Another Penn State basketball player has decided to enter the transfer portal.
Per Dushawn London of 247Sports, redshirt sophomore guard Eli Rice becomes the fourth Nittany Lion that has plans to play elsewhere next season.
He joins Melih Tunca, Freddie Dilione V and Mason Blackwood in deciding to hit the portal.
Rice started in 18 of the 29 games he played in last season.
He finished the year averaging 6.7 points and 1.7 rebounds in 19.8 minutes played per game.
Rice came to State College two seasons ago after transferring from Nebraska.
He had the highest 3-point shooting percentage on Penn State at 39 percent.
His best game this year was against Ohio State Jan. 25 when he scored a career-high 20 points and shot 7-of-14 from the field, including 6-of-11 from 3-point range.
