Drew Allar is progressing well in his rehab and is taking the field in Indianapolis this week.
Allar is set to throw at the NFL Combine on Saturday, per NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Quarterbacks and running backs will take the field on February 28 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Allar suffered a season-ending ankle injury against Northwestern inside Beaver Stadium on October 11. His recovery continues, but is good to go to throw in front of NFL general managers and scouts.
A three-year starter at Penn State, Allar played six games as a senior. He completed 64.8% of his passes for 1,110 yards, eight touchdowns, and three interceptions during James Franklin’s final season.
Franklin was fired following the 22-21 loss.
In 45 career games, Allar threw for 7,402 yards, 61 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions over four seasons. He helped lead Penn State to the 2024 Big Ten Championship Game and College Football Playoff semifinals, but fell short in both big games.
The 2026 NFL Draft takes place in Pittsburgh, two and a half hours away from State College, from April 23-25.
