Penn State wrestling will be without one of its starters for Friday night’s dual meet against Michigan at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Braeden Davis was out for last Friday’s dual meet win over Iowa and will be out again this Friday night.

Coach Cael Sanderson said after the Iowa dual meet that Davis was banged up on the previous week’s dual meet against Rutgers.

Unlike last Friday night, when Kurt McHenry went in Davis’ place, Penn State will have Kyison Garcia going at 133. Garcia is a redshirt freshman who went 6-3 in open tournaments last year. He’ll be going against Michigan’s Nolan Wertanen.

Penn State is looking to win its 67th consecutive dual meet. The matchups are scheduled to begin at 6 on the Big Ten Network.
