UNIVERSITY PARK– Penn State will be without starter Aaron Nagao, per the starting lineup for today’s dual meet against Nebraska at Rec Hall.
Nate Cobler of the Centre Daily Times reported that, per Penn State radio announcer Jeff Byers, Nagao is sick.
This would have been a shot at redemption for Nagao, who lost in sudden victory this past Monday at the Bryce Jordan Center to Rutgers’ Dylan Shawver, who came into that bout ranked No. 10.
Nagao, who’s 9-4 on the season– all four losses are to top 10 opponents– would have been taking on Nebraska’s Jacob Van Dee, who’s ranked No. 17.
Penn State and Nebraska are scheduled to start at 125 pounds at roughly 4:05. The opening matchup will pit true freshman sensation Braeden Davis (Penn State) against Nebraska’s Caleb Smith. Davis is ranked No. 6, and Smith No. 13.
