Call it the Penn State bowl if you want.
This week’s Monday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants in the Meadowlands is intriguing for a number of reasons. The Giants are 2-0 for the first time since 2016, the Cowboys need a win to avoid dropping to 1-2 and, in any case, these are two of the NFL’s marquee franchises.
It’s also appropriate that the Giants are having a White Out because it can be argued that the best player on each team played for James Franklin at Penn State.

Saquon Barkley of the Giants is seventh in the league in rushing yards and led the league in rushing through two weeks.
