Penn State quarterback Ta’Quan Roberson, who got the start for UConn in it’s season opener against Utah State Saturday, left the game with an injury a little more than six minutes in.
After leading a touchdown drive on the team’s first series, Roberson took a hit on the second play of UConn’s second possession after a five-yard run and limped off with an apparent knee injury. He transferred to UConn in late December after three seasons with Penn State.
Update: Roberson didn’t return in the first half.
