**Penn State has offered Tayshawn Banks (2024), a 6-foot, 170-pound defensive back from Taft High School in Cincinnati.
Banks also has offers from schools such as Boston College, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Pitt and Purdue.

Update (11:22 AM)—
**Penn State football has extended an offer to Christopher Johnson Jr. (2023), a three-star running back from Dillard High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Johnson Jr. (5-foot-11, 178 pounds) also plays some receiver, and helped Dillard to a 10-2 record in 2021. He has more than 20 other offers, from schools such as Florida, Georgia, Miami, Michigan and Oklahoma.
