Four-Star Safety Jayden Bonsu Puts Penn State in his Top 10

Jayden Bonsu, a Class of 2023 four-star athlete out of Hillside, NJ has trimmed his recruitment down to his top ten schools, and Penn State has made the list.

Bonsu also has Ohio State, Michigan, Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, Oregon, Southern California, Georgia, and the University of Miami in his top ten.

Bonsu is a 6-2, 200-pound safety that plays for St. Peters Prep High School that recorded 62 tackles, 2.5 sacks, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles for the Marauders, who reached the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association semifinals. According to 247sports.com, He is ranked as the No. 5 recruit in New Jersey, the No. 34 ranked safety, and is the No. 364 overall recruit in the Class of 2023.

At his size, scouts suggest that Bonsu is at his best when he is near the line of scrimmage, where he can make plays in the box, or he can drop into coverage and use his instincts to wreak havoc in the passing game.

Bonsu would be the first safety to commit to the Nittany Lions from the Class of 2023 should he come to Happy Valley.
