The Penn State football program received a few stocking stuffers this Christmas week as they received some good recruiting news.
Although Signing Day for the Class of 2023 is a year away, the Nittany Lions found out that they are finalists for a few top-level recruits.
Derrick LeBlanc: 2023 4-star defensive end from Kissimmee, Florida and is ranked by Rivals as one of the Top 250 juniors in the country. LeBlanc (6’5″, 255) announced a Top 7 of Penn State, Clemson, Ohio State, Miami, Florida, Oklahoma and Central Florida.
Payton Kirkland: 2023 4-star offensive tackle from Orlando, Florida. Kirkland (6’7″, 325) has 50+ offers and has announced a Top 7 of Penn State, Ohio State, Clemson, Oklahoma, Michigan, Georgia and Miami.
John Walker: 2023 4-star defensive tackle from Kissimmee, Florida and is ranked by Rivals as one of the Top 140 juniors in the country. Walker (6’3″, 275) has announced a Top 5 of Penn State, Central Florida, Alabama, Florida State and Ohio State.
James Franklin has already received 5 commitments for 2023 and the Nittany Lions Class of 2023 is ranked No. 4 by Rivals.
