Penn State Will Implement ‘Helmet Stripe’ Stadium Against Michigan

Photo from Penn State Athletic's Twitter account

While it won’t be a traditional “White Out” game for Penn State, it will be a newly implemented “Helmet Stripe” game. Although, that doesn’t quite have the same ring to it.

For Penn State’s Nov. 13 game against No. 7 Michigan, Beaver Stadium will be styled into a Nittany Lions’ helmet. Aside from the sections on the 50-yard line wearing blue, the rest of the stadium will be wearing white.

The Lions have already used the White Out this season in a 28-20 win over Auburn on Sept. 18, and next Saturday’s Helmet Stripe is basically a 95% White Out.

The Penn State-Michigan game is scheduled for Nov. 13, but the time and how to watch haven’t been announced yet. The Lions will play Maryland this Saturday at 3:30 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on FS1.
