Podcast: First impressions of Shrewsberry. And will administration give him what he needs to succeed?

Micah Shrewsberry and Sandy Barbour

Micah Shrewsberry made a good first impression during his introductory press conference Tuesday. Nate Bauer and Cory Giger each came up with one word to describe Penn State’s new basketball coach.

Also, does it even matter WHO is the Penn State basketball coach? Can the program enjoy sustained success, as AD Sandy Barbour mentioned is the goal, or will the school’s administration ever put enough resources into men’s basketball to believe that can happen?

We discussed all that on “Sports Central with Cory Giger” on WRTA in Altoona.
