**The Saint Francis men’s basketball program has paused team-related activities following a positive coronavirus test within the program.
The Red Flash had their game canceled Saturday at Saint Bonaventure. Two home games scheduled for this week against Fairleigh Dickinson have been postponed.

LORETTO, Pa. – The Saint Francis men’s basketball program has paused team-related activities due to a positive case of CoVID-19.
The health and safety of the Saint Francis community remains paramount as Saint Francis Athletics continues to follow university, local, state and national guidelines in response to CoVID-19.
The Northeast Conference series against Fairleigh Dickinson, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 15 and Wednesday, Dec. 16, will be postponed and rescheduled for an NEC make-up window in January.

Asked what the “Tier 1” distinction means, an SFU spokesperson said it is “anyone who is part of the travel party.”
That includes student-athletes, coaches, athletic trainer and any other essential staff.
The Red Flash’s next scheduled game is Tuesday at home against FDU, and the two teams play again Wednesday. Both games are scheduled to be played in Loretto. We’ll see how this positive test impacts those games and the schedule going forward.
